As of 1st August 2008 Professor Julia Newton


Congratulations to you from all at ME North East, well deserved, and we are delighted you continue to be our patron. Professor Newton has been promoted by Newcastle University and is now Professor of Ageing and Medicine. Her promotion to a personal chair was after recommendation by the Faculty of Medical Sciences, the University and International reviewers in recognition of her international research profile.

Julia has asked me to thank all of those members who participated in her latest two studies. With your help both have now been completed.

We will of course let you know of further studies that may interest you in the future.
