  • Julia is Professor of Ageing and Medicine in the Institute for Ageing and Health, Newcastle University.
  • She is the academic lead of the internationally renowned cardiovascular investigational unit (falls and syncope unit).
  • She founded and chairs the local multi disciplinary Fatigue Interest Group.
  • She has undertaken a number of research programmes and many of our members have participated in this important work.

Julia is also a patron of ME North East and a great ambassador for our services.

She has asked to come and meet our members and friends to talk about her ongoing research programmes and the importance of volunteering to enable this work to continue.

We've booked the facilities at Bullion Hall and can accomodate up to 80 people.
