Whilst we are not planning a conference to run alongside our AGM this year, we would like to extend a warm invitation to you to come along, The business meeting won’t take long and we can then catch up with old friends, chat and have some light refreshments.
In 2007 The Research Conference was a huge success. In 2006 we covered dedicated CFS/ME services now operating in our region, and in 2005 held a high profile conference specifically for children and young people with CFS/ME. In the present financial climate we need to be prudent and cautious with our funds. Should our Big Lottery Bid 2008 prove successful we will be planning a major event in 2009 to highlight the project we will be running entitled: "Improving the lives of the severely neglected with CFS/ME". The AGM 2008 will start at 11.30am, and once completed we will provide a finger buffet and offer a chance for people to meet up and socialise. If you are planning to come along we would appreciate it (for catering purposes) if you would call and register. We look forward to seeing you. |
